HOLIDAY HOMES

Where can I park my car?

Most of our holiday homes have allocated parking. We also have parking at Guest Servies and on gravel areas around the resort. 

What can I hire from guest services during my stay and how much does it cost?

Towels and irons are included in your holiday home and there is a hairdryer in the master bedroom of all grades. Highchairs can be hired for £12 and travel cots for £15. 

Will a travel cot fit in my holiday home?

All our holiday homes at Retallack can fit travel cots. 

Does my holiday home include towels?

Yes, all holiday homes at Retallack includes towels.  

Does my holiday home include bedding?

Yes, all our holiday home grades include bedding, and your beds will be made up for you upon arrival. 

Can I upgrade my holiday home?

There's never a better time to treat yourself than on holiday! If you fancy upgrading your holiday home, give us a call on 01637 882400 and we'll be happy to check availability for you. Subject to availability. Upgrades must be made at least a week prior to your holiday start date.    

Do you offer dog friendly holiday homes?

Yes, we have a variety of dog-friendly holiday homes. We charge from £45 per short break (5 nights and under) and £60 per long break (6 nights or more), per dog. Up to a maximum of two dogs are allowed per holiday home unit. You can find out more about our dog friendly holidays by clicking the here. 

Does my holiday home have WiFi?

We have resort-wide WiFi. The network name is ‘GUEST’ and does not require a password. 

ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT

What activities do you offer on resort?

We have a great selection of activities available whist you’re holidaying with us, from the littl’uns to the big kids, there’s something for everyone! You can view them here. Our activities are available in selected months during the year, please refer to our seasonal opening times for more information.

How do I book? 

You can book your activities online or over the phone up to three weeks prior to your arrival, or our Holiday Heroes can help you when you arrive.

Do I have to book activities before I arrive on resort?

No, but we recommend it so you don’t miss out! You can book your activities online or over the phone up to three weeks prior to your arrival, or our Holiday Heroes can help you when you arrive.

How do I book swimming slots?

Swim slots are 45 minutes long, last session entry at 5pm, out by 5.45pm. Swimming can be booked by calling 01637 882400 or popping into Guest Services.

Do I need to book a swim slot for those just wanting to spectate?

No, you do not need to book a slot if you are spectating, just come along subject to lifeguard discretion. No audio or visual recording is permitted.

Can I book activities and swimming slots for my arrival or departure day?

Yes! You can enjoy our activities and swimming pool on your arrival/departure days if you have pre-booked.

How do I book water sports?

You can book our water sports online or on the Away Resorts app up to three weeks prior to your arrival. Find out more about all our water sports here.

How do I book the Health Club?

Please call 01637 882400 or pop into Guest Services to book.

How do I book the ESYA spa?

Please call 01637 882400 or pop into Guest Services to book.

How much is fishing and where can I buy bait?

Embrace the peaceful sunrises, sunny afternoons and quiet evenings with our two fully stocked fishing lakes. Fishing permits are charged at £10 for twelve hours, and you will require your own equipment.

Can I swim in the lakes?

No, swimming is not permitted in the lakes.

What entertainment do you have on resort?

From Away Resorts LIVE entertainment to a brilliant variety of inclusive Guest Acts, there's plenty to keep the whole family entertained at Retallack Resort & Spa. Please refer to our seasonal opening times for more information as entertainment is seasonal.

What venues have entertainment on resort?

You can watch our entertainment in the Lookout Bar and Eatery.

ARRIVALS

What happens on arrival?

When you arrive at the entrance to Retallack Resort and Spa, you will see clear signposting to Guest Services, where our Holiday Heroes will check you in.

What time can is check-in and check-out?

All our holiday homes have a check-in time of 4pm. Check-out is at 10am on your day of departure.

What if I arrive early or late?

We ask that you don’t arrive before your check-in time. However, if you think you may arrive after 9pm on check-in day, please do call prior to let us know on 01637 882400 so we can explain how to collect your keys. On arrival, our Out of Hours team can be contacted on 07500 976091 should you need.

Can I check-in early?

No, we do not offer early check-in at Retallack.

Can I check-out later?

No, we do not offer late check-out at Retallack.

What do I need to do when checking out?

Please return your keys to Guest Services. Outside opening hours, please put them in the drop box outside Guest Services. Our waste disposal and recycling centres are available around the Resort and your nearest one is highlighted on the Resort Map. Please do recycle all rubbish as appropriate.

Can I stay one night?

No, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights, however we do offer any day arrivals all year on some of our accommodation grades! Yes, that’s peak dates too. Arrive when you want and leave when you want. All we ask is that you stay for a minimum of 2 nights.

Can I extend my stay?

If we have availability, we are more than happy for you to extend your stay with us. Please call the park prior to your arrival on 01637 882400.

Can I arrange a food shop delivery for my stay?

You are welcome to arrange a food shop delivery for when you have arrived on park. If you can let Guest Services know then they can advise the delivery where to go and it will be delivered straight to your holiday home - please ensure you are present. Please note that Retallack Resort and Spa takes no responsibility for your order, and it is down to yourselves to arrange delivery and collection of your items.

Can we have visitors on resort?

Day visitors are welcome on resort and to use our facilities, please let Guest Services know if you have any visitors joining you. Overnight visitors are not permitted.

FACILITIES

What facilities do you have on resort?

On park you will find The Lookout Bar & Eatery & The Beach Cafe for food and drinks, the Resort Shop for all your essentials, an indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room, the ESYA Spa, Health Club, an adventure playground and an exciting range of watersports including a Flowrider, aqua park & wake park. Please note that our facilities operate seasonally.

What facilities can I take my dog to?

Your four-legged family members are welcome in Guest Services, our Holiday Home Sales office, the Lookout Bar and Eatery and our beach café.

Where can I eat on resort?

You can enjoy delicious dishes in The Lookout Bar and Eatery and some light bites at our Beach Café during the spring and summer months.

How do I book a table?

You can book a table at The Lookout Bar and Eatery online or by calling the team on 01637 882400.

Can I order takeaway from the on-resort restaurant?

Yes, you can order dishes to takeaway from The Lookout, subject to availability. Collection only.

Can I order a takeaway to resort?

Yes! Check out our welcome booklet for some recommendations.

Do you have an electric vehicle charging point?

Currently there are no EV charging points here, but it's something we're looking into. Your nearest is Tesco in Wadebridge (PL27 7HW). EV charging is not permitted in our holiday homes.

Is there WiFi?

Is there a cash point on resort?

No, the nearest cash point is in St Columb.

Can I still use cash on resort?

Yes, we accept cash on resort but contactless payment is preferred.

Do you have disabled facilities?

Accessible units/facilities? Yes, we have disabled access to all our facilities. 

Do you have a defibrillator?

Yes, we have two defibrillators on resort. One is located at Guest Services, and one is located at the Flowrider reception.

Do you have a launderette?

No, we do not have a launderette on resort. However, all our accommodation is equipped with a washer dryer.

Do you have a shop?

Yes, from all the ingredients for a great family meal, to just your favourite morning paper, plus local Cornish produce, our on-site shop has everything you may need.
